Scooby Soccer will support you by providing training, and high-quality resources which are designed by our Head coaches to create a positive environment to introduce our young athletes to the fundamentals of soccer. Parents can experience the fun and rewarding position of Volunteer Coach while bonding with their child on the field! We are seeking fun, positive, motivated, active individuals looking to give back and join our team as a Volunteer Coach.
We will host Volunteer Coach Mentorship Programs, which allows Volunteers to
- Gain confidence. Volunteering can help you gain confidence by giving you the chance to try something new and build a real sense of achievement.
- Make a Difference. Volunteering can have a real and valuable positive effect on people, communities, and society in general.
More Coaching Support!
We listened to your feedback and are excited to announce even more support for our volunteer coaches this season. We will start your coaching experience off right by hosting information sessions for coaches to become familiar with practice activities and to gain confidence with our detailed lesson plans. You do not have to be a pro to participate! We are introducing step-by-step lesson plans for coaches and will provide weekly communications with our Head Coach so that anyone can be confident as a volunteer Coach. On the field there will be lots of support and guidance provided by Scooby Staff and Coaches. Look for our Coaches Corner tab as your one stop spot for everything coaching and volunteer support!

Can I take vacation as a volunteer coach?
Absolutely! Any dates of absence can be communicated, and a Scooby Staff member will step in and fill in as Coach.
Do I need a soccer background to volunteer?
No, anyone can volunteer to coach. With added support from our Coaches and staff, even those with minimal soccer experience can feel confident on the field!
Is there any incentive to coach?
Yes! We are happy to apply a $25 good gesture credit to the card you registered with.
What if I am sick and miss a game?
We understand life happens and are here to support volunteer coaches whenever needed. If you are unable to attend, you can email and a Scooby Staff member will happily fill in.
